Coastal Voyage

Hurtigruten dutifully come alongside all of its 34 ports of call in spring, summer, autumn and winter. A loud sound of the horn alerts people to the ship’s arrival.

Every day.
At the same time.
365 days a year.

That is why people on the coast are so fond of Hurtigruten. She is there when she is due and brings soft boots from Nesna, and grandchildren to see their grandmothers. Like she has been doing for 113 years. Right now old “Lofoten” could be on her way south, carrying happy tourists sitting on deck under a blanket. Another ship, moored up north, is welcoming new passengers aboard.

Eleven Hurtigrute ships are at sea continuously

- In any weather and all year round.

Every season has its own charm, and the adventure is not over at the end of the summer. If you have seen the autumn weather over Hustadvika or the spring bloom in Geiranger, you know what beauty really is.
